Day 1

Getting there

All qualified applicants will fly into Phnom Penh International Airport (Pochentong International Airport) where you’ll be picked up.
Day 2-14

Orientation

Two week-long orientation upon arrival and you will quarantine for fourteen days, according to current Covid-19 requirements.
Day 15-84

Your teaching experience

It’s time to get into the classroom! You’ll be confident after already completing 120 hours of certified teacher training. You’ve got 12 weeks to make a difference in your students’ lives while teaching English in Cambodia, and we want to help you live life to the fullest for EVERY one of them. You’re now ready to start teaching English 25+ hours weekly to students ranging from teens to adults, beginners to intermediate levels. Expect to follow a provided syllabus with wiggle-room for additional opportunities to teach English in Cambodia specifically for hospitality, healthcare, business, and public speaking
Day 84

After your internship

Congratulations, you did it! Make sure to celebrate this achievement. It’s time to decide if you’d like to see more of Cambodia, traveling or teaching (or both). You might decide to extend your stay in Cambodia and teach for longer by renewing your contract. The possibilities are endless for you now as a confident and experienced TEFL teacher.

What you need:
Be a native or Fluent English speaker
High School graduate (A-levels, High School Diploma, Leaving Cert, Matric)
Aged 22+
120 hour TEFL certificate (included)
In good mental and physical health
Owner of a clean police record
What’s not required:
Any teaching experience (although this can boost your salary)
To speak any other languages
International flights: You’ll need return flights (can be two one-way flights)
Quarantine: A 14-day Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) hotel (if required at your time of travel) plus airport pickup.
Budget: Spending money for your first month plus excursions etc.
Police check: You’ll need a clean criminal record
Visa cost: You’ll have support to obtain your work visa
Health check: You’ll need to provide a COVID-19 free health certificate (PCR method) and a fit to fly certificate
Insurance: It’s really important to sort your travel and health before you go, covering COVID-19 treatment.
Vaccines: Consult your local doctor for advice
