REQUIREMENTS TO TEACH ENGLISH ONLINE
The requirements to teach English online vary from company to company. Some platforms can welcome all nationalities, whether you are a native English speaker or fluent, and whether you are degree qualified or not. You can even find opportunities to teach on your phone or tablet.
If the teaching platform is owned by a Chinese organisation, it is required that you hold a degree and complete 120 hours of TEFL training. And, there are some companies who can only hire citizens of the US / Canada.
ONLINE ENGLISH TEACHING JOBS
There are dozens of job opportunities to teach English online. Application processes are smooth and onboarding is quick. You could be earning a reliable income in just a few short weeks and transforming your living room into the most exciting hub of education.
PREMIER TEFL & OFQUAL CERTIFICATES
All printed Premier TEFL certificates are being shipped as normal, from our Irish HQ. If any interruption to our service occurs, our operations team will immediately update you. Certificates will continue to be posted whilst it is safe to do so.
Keep in mind that delivery times may take longer than normal due to reductions in global postal services. We recommend choosing the recorded delivery option if you’re ordering a printed certificate at this time.
TQUK issued Ofqual certificates for the Level 5 course will be issued in PDF format from the end of March 2020 until further notice. Printed copies will be available when the pandemic restrictions in the UK are lifted.
It is currently not possible to obtain an Apostille stamp or Embassy attestation on certificates. If you will require legalisation of your TEFL certificate for visa purposes in the coming months, contact [email protected] to join the list, we’ll let you know once it’s possible to proceed.
All European Scholarship dates have been cancelled until May 29th 2020. Our partners at Angloville are contacting all participants to reschedule for later in the year. If you haven’t heard from the team already, you can reach out at [email protected].
Good news - you can still apply for dates in 2020, which will be flexible. If it is not possible to run the dates that you booked for, a team member will help you reschedule. All programs will be confirmed in advance and no travel arrangements should be made without guidance from the team at Angloville.
Since January 2020 we’ve been supporting interns at home and abroad during this time. We are following guidelines set out by the Dept of Foreign Affairs and the World Health Organisation along with advice and support of our hard-working overseas partners.
We are monitoring all upcoming start dates across the range of our internships and our operations team is working hard to stay in contact with those booked to travel, once it is safe to do so.
Where it is not possible to run the internship or for you to join your planned intake, you will be able to join the next available start date or delay your start date for up to six months.
