About this course
The course is divided into 19 short modules. Each lesson a bite size learning block which includes real-life Mindfulness and Yoga examples and reflective tasks.
After you complete this certification in Mindfulness and Yoga for Early Educators you will know how to enter your first young learners lesson well prepared and confident.
You’ll have 1.5 hours of on-demand video coaching from our experienced Registered Yoga Teacher. She will teach you how Mindfulness and Yoga techniques can benefit your class’ learning experience, helping them to absorb much more information in a healthier environment.

You’ll learn plenty of useful ideas about how to create Mindful spaces to practice your techniques. Discover tools you can use during your Mindfulness sessions.
These final modules pull together everything you need to become your own greatest mental health ally – for you and your Young Learners.

What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a form of meditation where you focus on being in the present moment, intensely aware of what you’re sensing and feeling without interpretation.
Practicing mindfulness involves a combination of breathing techniques and guided imagery to relax the body and mind, and minimize stress.
How does Yoga help kids?
Yoga and mindfulness offer both mental and physical benefits for children.
Published research globally has already shown that yoga can improve concentration, memory, self-esteem, strength, academic performance, and classroom behavior, and can even reduce anxiety and stress in children.
Is there an exam at the end of this course?
There is no exam at the end of the Mindfulness and Yoga for Early Educators Course.
