Thailand has always been a favorite among TEFL teachers, and Chiang Mai, the Rose of the North, is an unmatched place to begin. You spend four weeks in class earning your TEFL qualification with six observed teaching practices, then move into a five month paid placement in a Thai school. Placements are in northern provinces including Chiang Mai, Kamphaeng Phet, Uthai Thani, Phayao, Phitsanulok, Fang, Mae Hong Son and Nan.
