TEFL stands for Teaching English as a Foreign Language. A qualification helps you to gain practical skills about teaching English. You'll learn how to plan lessons and explain language clearly. You can use this certification to get English teaching jobs online or abroad.

The right TEFL course depends on where and how you want to teach.

We always recommend starting with a 120-hour TEFL course. However a Level 5 qualification provides more advanced training. This advanced certification will help you get more advanced teaching jobs.

For many beginners in the UK, a 120-hour TEFL course is a good starting point. It covers all the teaching skills required for you to teach English anywhere in the world. If you want more in-depth training, you need to go for a level 5 TEFL qualification. This is a better choice for advanced English teaching.
