About this course
Take your TEFL training beyond the standard entry-level certificate with Premier TEFL’s 180-hour Level 5 TEFL course.
This online, Ofqual-regulated TEFL Diploma provides more detailed training in lesson planning, English grammar, teaching methodology, pronunciation, vocabulary and classroom management. It is designed for UK learners who want to teach English online, work abroad or apply for more competitive TEFL positions.
Why Choose a Level 5 TEFL Diploma?
A Level 5 TEFL qualification offers more advanced training than a standard 120-hour course. It can help you build stronger subject knowledge, prepare for teaching interviews and demonstrate a higher level of TEFL training to prospective employers.
The qualification is regulated by Ofqual and set at Level 5 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework. Employer and visa requirements still vary by country, and some roles may also require a university degree or previous experience.
Flexible Online Study with Tutor Support
The 180-hour course is delivered entirely online through ten structured modules. Lessons are divided into manageable learning blocks containing videos, progress tests and practical teaching activities.
You will also complete three tutor-assessed assignments and receive detailed feedback to help you improve your lesson planning and teaching decisions. Live tutor drop-in sessions provide additional support with coursework and assessments.
You can complete the course in as little as six weeks and will receive six months’ access to the learning materials, allowing you to study around work, university or other commitments.
Career Support After Your Course
Premier TEFL’s Career Centre provides access to regularly updated teaching opportunities and practical resources to support your job search.
Your Level 5 TEFL Diploma can support applications for suitable positions online and overseas. However, completing the qualification does not guarantee employment, and applicants should always check the requirements of individual employers and destinations.
Add Certified Teaching Practice
You can add the optional certified teaching practice module to apply your knowledge in a practical setting, receive professional feedback and strengthen your preparation for interviews and demonstration lessons.
Start your 180-hour Level 5 TEFL course in the UK and build the advanced knowledge needed to teach English online or abroad with confidence.
