Module 2 14 hrs How English Exams are Structured: Features and Content
Your understanding of the format of popular English exams is essential to helping your students to score well. In this module you’ll gain critical knowledge about the features and content of exams as well as the assessment skills to be able to know if your student is hitting the mark.
Module 3 14 hrs How to Teach for Reading & Listening Exams
Reading and listening are called ‘Receptive skills’ because students receive language. Your students may have to listen to a recorded conversation and answer test questions on what they’ve heard. You’ll learn tips and strategies to share with your students for how to score highly during listening activities. You’ll also cover the main features of common reading comprehension exams as well as how grammar is marked in exam English courses.
Module 4 10 hrs How to Teach for Speaking & Writing Exams
Speaking and writing are called ‘Productive skills’ because students produce language. You’ll learn plenty of useful ideas about how to get your exam English students chatting freely and confidently on the most common topics for speaking exams.
