Ordering your certificates and reference letters

Before you order — do you actually need a hard copy?

Employers may request proof of course enrolment or proof of completion when processing your job application. Unless you've been asked specifically for a letter, you don't need to purchase one. Your certificate is widely accepted as evidence of course completion, but employers are at liberty to ask for a formal letter from your training provider as an extra verification step.

If your destination country requires certificate authentication, please contact your advisor before purchasing - they'll confirm the right option and any extra steps needed.

How orders are processed

Orders placed after 11 am on Wednesday will not be processed until the following week from our Irish headquarters. Your certificate will be sent to the mailing address you provide at checkout.

About certificate identifiers - hard copy certificates issued after July 2021 carry a unique identifier that differs from their digital version. Both are valid and can be verified online.

Important delivery notices

🇿🇦 South Africa & 🇺🇦 Ukraine - due to ongoing postal challenges, deliveries to these countries are unreliable at the moment. We recommend choosing DHL delivery at checkout. Premier TEFL will not assume responsibility for lost certificates sent by other delivery options.

🇷🇺 Russia & 🇧🇾 Belarus - all postal deliveries are currently suspended.

Before ordering a hard copy, you can download your digital certificate for free:

  1. Log in to your course
  2. Under the General section (above Module 1), click the expand tab
  3. Make sure you've completed your pre-certificate questionnaire
  4. Click the course title link
  5. Click Get your certificate
  6. Download and save your certificate
