Having at least a high school diploma (A-Levels / Leaving Certificate / Matric or equivalent) is the minimum education level expected of TEFL teachers.
Some employers prefer TEFL teachers to have a degree level education while certain countries require a bachelor’s degree or higher for visa and work permit regulations. There is no way around this unfortunately.
