When to Apply for Jobs in China

In China, the academic year starts in March and will last until June or July. After a semester break, the academic year will continue in September. Because of this, it is recommended that teachers apply for teaching English jobs in China around 6 months in advance. Most internships or placement programs have teachers applying in the months leading up to February and August to secure them an English teaching job in China.
