On arrival you’ll spend your first 7 days on teacher’s orientation. You’ll get to know fellow TEFL teachers and thanks to local knowledge and professional support, you can brush up on cultural tips for life in Thailand and enjoy a spot of Bangkok sightseeing.
Teaching positions include openings in the kindergarten, teaching IELTS and exam classes as well as coaching Business English clients. Both in-classroom and online options are available for students.

TEFL Job Summary
Teaching positions are in private Language Schools, and placement locations include Silom, Lad Prao and Hua Hin.
Typically the school day starts at 10.00am, finishing by 8.30pm Monday to Friday. Weekend lessons run from 8.30am to 5.30pm. Teachers only need to be at school for their scheduled classes; online classes can be taught from home.
You’ll have two days off per week. Either Saturday or Sunday, plus one midweek day.
Through 25 hours of face-to-face and online teaching in school classroom settings each week, you will be aiming to improve your students’ reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
Any support you need for activity planning will be on hand from your teaching colleagues.
While applicants can state a preference for age group, lesson types and placement location it depends upon availability, we will endeavor to meet the preferences of teachers. Friends are also welcome to apply, placement together depends on availability.

Tailored Teacher Training
Before you start teaching English in Thailand, you’ll be completely prepared as a TEFL teacher by taking our 210 hour tailored TEFL training package.
Including four professional courses; not only will you be a fully qualified TEFL teacher, and be equipped to prepare students for the important IELTS tests. You’ll also specialize in Teaching Business English to top off your training package.
Included too are 20 pre-written lesson plans for teaching young learners and business English classes.
We also welcome applicants having completed a comprehensive TEFL course with another internationally recognized provider.
You will provide high impact learning experiences for your students.
- You can expect to teach English ~25 hours weekly to your students, leaving you ample time (~15 hours) to prep lesson plans and activities or grade papers.

How can I earn more than 40,000 Baht (THB)?
Your salary is based on teaching 100 hours in a calendar month. An hourly rate of 450 THB is paid for any classes taught over this.
New or inexperienced TEFL teachers receive 40,000 Baht (THB) as your base monthly salary. Teachers with 2 years of relevant experience in a language school will be paid 45,000 Baht (THB) monthly.
What help is there to find a local apartment?
Your school representative will help to arrange viewings of suitable apartments with a local agent. Modern apartments in Bangkok can start from 8,000 THB (US$230/€290/£190) monthly.
A typical downpayment on an apartment is one to two months’ rent in advance.
TIP: For those seeking a more plush pad, you can upgrade accommodation to a complex with a pool and gym by budgeting in the region 10,000 – 14,000 THB.
What time off and holidays do I get?
Teachers get one day off per week (usually a Saturday or Sunday) plus around 1 week of paid holidays at Songkran (Thai New Year) and another week over Christmas and New Year.
Is my visa sponsored?
Yes, you will receive a visa cost reimbursement of 3,100 THB (US$90/€85/£75) after completion of 6 months of teaching.
Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19?
No, it’s not a requirement of your employer to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
However, it can make things a lot easier in Thailand in general if you are. You may be asked to show proof of vaccine for flights, getting inside certain buildings, restaurants, bars etc.
