- Ability to cope with challenges, good communication skills, cultural sensitivity
- A range of hobbies and interests
- Good health (applicants must submit complete a health check as part of the work permit process)
- Clean police record

You’ll find the cost of living in Vietnam is relatively inexpensive compared to your home country. Your monthly stipend of US$700 will go Ha Long Way—get it?
Vietnamese food is fresh and delicious and can be found in local markets throughout the country. You’ll be pleased to know you can find almost anything at these markets, from shoes, clothing, cooking utensils, flowers, backpacks and perfume.
If you love a bargain, enjoy the haggle culture of the Asain markets—can we come in your suitcase?
US$700 Per Month
Getting there
On arrival, you’ll be met by our in-country team with all the other interns. At the end of the one week orientation you’ll travel by bus, train or flight to your placement location with your fellow interns.

Based on the individual schools’ selection process and your age-group preference, you will spend the next few months gaining hands-on teaching experience in placements in or around the cities of:
- Hanoi, Haiphong, Ha long
- Da Nang, Hue
- Ho Chi Minh
What do you need to organize?

International flights: You’ll need return flights (can be two one-way flights)

Budget: Spending money for your first month plus excursions etc.

Police check: You’ll need a clean criminal record

Visa cost: You’ll have support to obtain your visa, the cost is around US$250. Legalization of documents for your visa incurs an additional fee, this only applies to UK issued paperwork, ask us for advice on this!
