Teach English in Prague

Prague boasts a wide variety of restaurants, beer halls, cafes and clubs, while spa towns, such as Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně and Františkovy Lázně and Jáchymov offer a relaxing alternative. The architecture of the Czech Republic includes castles and châteaux from different historical periods, and the world-famous red roof homes. Pub fare is among the best in the world, featuring everything from cheese to potato pancakes. City tours by Segway start from just €50 including rental. No city tour is complete without a stroll across Charles Bridge though, most beautiful in the morning.

Particularly popular with both expats and tourists the world over, the social scene in Czech Republic is incredibly diverse. With over 2,000 castles, beautiful bike routes and a population of 10.5 million (who consume more beer per capita than any other nationality in the world, and are the biggest Wi-Fi users per capita in the EU), you won’t be stuck for a hotspot to post a selfie with friends from the water’s edge at Náplavka.

The Czech Republic is a particularly safe country, with low crime rates. The people are polite, friendly, and mild-mannered – if you are invited to a Czech home, it is customary to take off your shoes upon arrival. Compared to Western European destinations, travel is inexpensive and easily accessible.

The 37th most environmentally conscious country in the world, the Czech Republic is bordered by impressive mountains and preserved forests. The summertime sees tourists embarking on hiking holidays, while winter attracts downhill skiers.

All this and more uniquely cultural celebrations wait to be experienced by you in Czech Republic. Apply today and start planning your TEFL adventure in central Europe.
