Experience is a key element of your TEFL training and helps you land your crucial first job abroad.

With over 220 hours of practical teaching experience in Austrian classrooms, the TEFL scholarship – based in the stunning Austrian Lake District – gives you the confidence you need to succeed in the TEFL industry. Through 29 hours per week of hands-on teaching experience – as well as additional training seminars – you have ample opportunities to gain extended EFL practice in communicative teaching, project work, game-based learning and task-based learning techniques.

Plus, with sponsored tuition, you’ll also benefit from specific preparation and training to gain the world–leading Trinity CertTESOL teaching certificate, along with Red Cross First Aid training and certification, and the English Teacher Training College’s TEFL certification, with a breakdown of your course grades. After completing this initial four month course, accruing 300 hours of teaching experience and gaining your CertTESOL, you will be in prime position to apply for teaching jobs all over the world, or continue on to the CELT-P course at the English Teacher Training College to upgrade your skills further!

As part of this package, you’ll get the PremierTEFL 30 hour Teaching Young Learners certificate. It has been created to provide you with real, comprehensive knowledge of everything you need to become a confident, influential TEFL teacher and understand the key elements of TYL, from building a portfolio of writing activities for young learners to understanding the importance of safeguarding.
