Why take the 230 hour Advanced TEFL Course?

You’ve got your eye on the 170 hour TEFL course—and know that it would set you up for a thrilling career path as an English teacher abroad—but you can’t help but feel like you want a little more. You want to go chest deep into the TEFL pool instead of dipping your toes. You want to specialize, earning additional certifications and improving your long term job prospects. You want to get TEFL certified, but with a lil sum’em sum’em on the side. Our 230 hour TEFL course checks off all those boxes; you’ll get a comprehensive training + the benefits of additional coursework in IELTS & TOEIC test prep training.

The Ofqual regulated 170 hour TQUK Level 5 certification is included and will put you in a (REAL) good place. It is comprehensive, including 11 modules that are self-paced and can be done from anywhere you have a WIFI connection. The course is regulated by Ofqual (an accrediting body of the UK government) and is an equivalent to the CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL certifications. Awesome! This hooks you up with a certification that is reputable and recognized by most governments, schools, and embassies—a step up from a typical TEFL 120 course.

But that’s not all you’re getting with the 230 hour TEFL course with Premier TEFL. You’ll also get two additional, special certifications, clocked in at 30 hours of work a piece: IELTS & TOEIC test prep. This increases your job prospects significantly, as you will now be eligible to teach students or young adults that are preparing for specific IELTS and TOEIC exams. These types of jobs can even be secured in your home country (because teaching doesn’t always have to be abroad!).

If you’re looking for a step-up in accreditation than a basic TEFL course, still want the flexibility of getting trained in an ultra-convenient way, AND want to have a variety of jobs available to you post-certification, then the 230 hour TEFL course certification program is for YOU.
